Growing plants has always been a big part of our family.
My mum and dad ran a busy plant nursery for 50 years, and I started helping there when I was just eight years old. It was where my love of plants began and where I gained many years of hands-on experience.
When the nursery was eventually sold for housing, Mum continued growing perennials and alpines in her garden and taking them to local fetes and shows. I had also developed a particular love for Japanese maples and kept a small collection of Acers in my own garden.
One day, Mum came home from a show with a maple I didn't already have, and it sparked a simple idea: why don't we specialise in Acers? 🍁
And that's where our story began. Today, we're proud to continue our family's long tradition of growing plants, sharing our passion for beautiful Acers with gardeners and collectors alike.
